AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Roof Coating 2024 Rebrand in 5 Gallon Pail

Project Description

Located in Hammonton, New Jersey, the Atlantic County Public Works building was having both a new EPDM roof put on and wanted to restore the metal roof off the back of their facility. To restore this roof and make the building more energy efficient, we wrote up a specification to restore this roof with our AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Coating system.

All perimeters, seams and areas around fiberglass skylights were sealed with AP-2200 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Mastic. The roof was then coated with our Armour Proof Coatings system. It was applied by an airless spray rig from the ground, saving the contractor from having to carry up 5 gallon pails up a ladder.

Surface Preparation

The contractor cleaned the roof with brooms to remove dust and larger debris to prepare the roof for the liquid membrane system.

Seam & Penetration Repair

The seams and penetrations were reinforced with our AP-2200 Moisture Cure Polyurethane Mastic to protect to these vulnerable areas.

System Coating Process

AP-5100 Moisture Cure Polyurethane was applied by spray rig to the entire roof, providing a durable, reflective, monolithic membrane surface.
