Description

Del-Val 410 Non-Fibered Foundation Emulsion is manufactured from refined asphalts, reinforcing non-asbestos fibers and clays. Del-Val 410 Non-Fibered Foundation Emulsion has a brown appearance when wet but will dry to a near black color. Asphalt emulsions are very low odor alternatives to solvent borne asphalt roof coatings. Del-Val 410 is applied directly from the container is corrosion-resistant, and waterproof when dry. Del-Val 410 does not crack, run or sag under extreme weather conditions. Del-Val 410 is a coating suitable for the protection of roofing materials, metal, and masonry surfaces.

Uses

Del-Val 410 Non-Fibered Foundation Emulsion is ideal for reducing dampness and moisture infiltration through foundation walls, parapets, firewalls, tanks, culverts, cisterns, and bridge abutments. Del-Val 410 is applicable for above-grade cavity wall applications and below-grade masonry wall damp proofing and helps to minimize internal structural damage from mildew and mold. Suitable for “green” or slightly damp surfaces.

Preparation

All surfaces must be clean and free of any oil, grease, dirt and all other foreign matter. Must stir coating before using.

Application

Can be applied using: brush, roller or heavy duty spray equipment. Allow 24 hours drying time before backfilling against the foundation walls. Do not apply over wet / damp or frost covered surfaces. For best results weather should be clear with no threat of rain for 48 hours.
