“United Asphalt goes at the market the exact same way I do which is basically to be a partner with my customers.”

BERLIN, NJ – April 30, 2025 – To support its newest markets in Texas and Oklahoma, United Asphalt Company is excited to announce the hire of Kit Williams as Territory Sales Manager.

With over 8 years of experience in the roofing industry, Kit has worked extensively across both residential and commercial sectors. He brings particular expertise in roof coatings, with a keen ability to assess when a coating is appropriate and when a full re-roof is the only viable option. As he often puts it, “You can’t put a Band-Aid on a heart attack” — some roofs simply need to be replaced, but those that can be restored, he’ll direct a client to the right coating for substrate and particulars of the roof specification.

When asked why he’s excited to get started with United Asphalt Company, Kit stated emphatically “It’s an amazing company with a long history of quality and business partnerships with its customers. Fundamentally, from everyone I’ve talked to in the company and in conversations in the industry, it’s the focus on customers and their growth that really attracts me. United Asphalt goes at the market the exact same way I do which is basically to be a partner with my customers. I want to find ways to help them grow.“

Remarking on the newly opened plant location, Kit said “Having a plant here in Texas is going to benefit our customers with quick lead times, fresh product and convenience.”
